• Serves as the HVAC Maintenance Mechanic by installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and RefrigerationÌý systems.
• Monitors HVAC systems and operations, and ensures that routine preventive maintenance is performed according to established schedules either in-house or by a vendor and must maintain files on all equipment.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes and other functional components of the system.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits
• Will resolve air balancing problems. Work with vendors who provide capital construction, maintenance and other services.
• Interface with contractors, technicians, in-house customers in professional manner
• Respond immediately to emergency situations Procure material/parts in a timely mannerÌýand setup and maintain spare parts inventory.

Job Requirements

• HVAC skills, including performing preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, replacing various components, compressors, motors, and repairing refrigerant leaks
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and controls, both pneumatic and low voltage is highly recommended.
• Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both orally and written.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing.
• Able to work in close places such as closets, crawl spaces, etc..
• Able to work on roofs of buildings
• Perform additional job duties as requested.

Minimum Required Education / Experience:

• Trades school degree or high school diploma or equivalent
• Universal EPA license required
• Factory training / experience working with chiller systems (Carrier, Trane etc)

Position Details:

· Able to bend and install EMT+ Rigid conduit with hand benders utilizing the NEC and OSHA standards.
· Able to install, wire,and troubleshoot plant lighting, fans, receptacles, breakers, panels etc.
· Able to utilize all hand and power tools, saws, drills, and knockout punches.
· Able to comprehend blue prints, drawings, specifications and schematics.
· Able to work from varying heights using lift trucks and ladders in a safe manner.
· Comprehend and practice the use of Lockout/Tag out, fall protection and all other PPE.
· Assist senior electricians with ongoing project installs as needed.
· 1st or 2nd shift.

Looking for a Class A machinist with experience in Tool and Die setup. Analyze variety of blue prints (Metric & Standard), repair and maintain tools and dies. Knowledge of tool design, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout of machining and assembly procedures preferred. Will consider Machinists with some tooling background. Overtime optional/offered.* Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.

Required Skills

• Ability to setup and operate Manual Lathes, Surface Grinder and Milling Machine.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and machine for proper tolerances.
• Prior experience with Southwestern Industries Milling machine is preferred but not required.

This is a Night Shift position, hours are 6:00pm – 6:00am. Rotating shifts are Monday through Friday and Tuesday through Saturday.
